I live, work, and create in Shg̱agwei, “the Place with Solid Core Trees,” on the traditional lands of the Lḵoot Ḵwáan (Ancestral People of Chilkoot). I honor the original inhabitants who lived in harmony with the land and sea, and I recognize the ongoing work of the Skagway Traditional Council in carrying forward the strength and vision of our ancestors.
